Lead Quality Inspector (for lifting inspection)

Requirements :

• ASNT Level II
• MIGAS lifting certification and familiar with offshore lifting gear standard such as DNV 2.7-1 (latest edition) and/or ISO 10855
• Minimum seven (7) years experienced in lifting gear inspection

Job Desk :

• Ensure application of Agreement specifications, Industry Standards and Company best practices as it relates to goods and equipment received from the manufacturer and returned from offshore.
• Ensuring all equipments used for inspection are available & ready for operation.
• Supervises all assigned personnel and operations.
• Implement and supervise the drilling quality related processes (i.e. receiving inspections and repair of damaged goods).
• Directs and supervises all Work Site inspection activities, including small sample inspection and returned goods inspection (drill pipe, BHA's, casing and tubing, etc.).
• Prepares and retains all QA/QC reports.
• Performs other specific tasks as needed and as directed by Company that are within the capabilities of the Contractor.
