Fitter for FSO (Shipping Vessel / Offshore Facility)

Requirements :

• Sufficient Experience as Fitter on Shipping Vessel / Offshore Facilities
• Sufficient experience in performing general maintenance and overhaul activities including but not limited to power generation, cargo handling, auxiliary machinery, air compressors, purifiers, refrigeration, heating, ventilation, hydraulic and plumbing.
• Welding (certified), pipe fitting and basic machine shop operations
• High mechanical aptitude, skilled in the use of hand tools required for maintenance activities
• Demonstrated knowledge of emergency procedures and the ability to operate emergency equipment
• Commitment to safe working practices and adherence to company safety and work management systems
• Able to communicate in English (speaking and writing)
• Basic computer skills

Job Descriptions :

• General maintenance and overhaul activities of all equipment onboard the FSO including but not limited to power generation, cargo handling, auxiliary machinery, air compressors, purifiers, refrigeration, heating, ventilation, hydraulic and plumbing.
• First line equipment maintenance
• Welding, pipe fitting and basic machine shop operations
• Assist as required with bunkering and FW transfer operations
• Helideck assistant as required
• Maintaining logbooks/records as required by the Mechanical Lead
• Housekeeping of E/R workshop
• Assist in material handling
• Assist in launching and recovery of life/rescue boats
• Act as member of any emergency response or security team
• Assist with work inside confined space entry
• Supporting FSO waste management compliance
• Full compliance with all company and regulatory safety, health and environmental requirements
• Participate in onboard Behavior Based Safetyprograms
• Preparation of Job Safety Analysis for routine activity
