Agronomist Digitalization Coordinator

About Client:

A leading energy company specializing in exploration and production of oil and gas, with a strong focus on natural resources and sustainability. The company is actively engaged in offshore exploration activities and collaborates with local authorities to support energy transition efforts, including initiatives in agri-feedstock development and carbon reduction.

Role Description:

Responsible for assessing the specific needs of the agricultural supply chain and identify digitalization opportunities, assess and select the most suitable technologies for data collection and analysis, such as sensors, IoT, blockchain and geolocation systems. Support the design and development of a monitoring and traceability system to collect, process and visualize data from different stages of the supply chain. Coordinate the implementation of the system, ensuring that the different components are effectively and securely integrated. Provide end-user training and ongoing support to ensure correct and optimal use of the system.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in the design and development of monitoring and tracking systems.
• Knowledge of digital technologies such as IoT, cloud computing, data analytics, and cyber security.
• Adequate training in GIS & Remote Sensing obtained through appropriate training in the fields of environment, forestry, topography, agriculture, geology, IT.
• Proficiency in the use of GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or related software.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, R) for the automation of GIS processes.
• Good knowledge of English language.
