About the job Sales Engineer - Marine Engine Parts
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international maritime markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, vessel managers, shipyards, and engine service providers
- Understand technical requirements of marine engine spares and offer suitable solutions to clients
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely supply and delivery of parts
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and quotations
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to strategically position company offerings
- Participate in relevant trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Marine Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in marine engine spares or maritime equipment sales
- Strong network within the maritime and shipping industries
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications :
- Technical knowledge of 2-stroke and 4-stroke marine diesel engines
- Experience with CRM systems and digital sales tools
- Multilingual proficiency is a plus
