About the job HSSE Manager

Requirements :

  • Degree in science or engineering or demonstrable work experience in HSSE in Oil & Gas Project Development (green or brown field).
  • 10 plus years related industry full time experience in HSSE field or 15 plus years in Technical or Operations with experience in HSSE related works.
  • Hands on experience in oilfield HSSE Management Systems and programs including HSSE performance measurement and tracking.
  • Knowledge of international HSSE legislation, guidelines, standards and practises applicable to the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Good interpersonal, oral and written skills to effectively communicate HSSE issues.
  • Capable of managing people to maximise their potential through coaching and various management development programs.
  • Capable of negotiating with government officials, community leaders.


Job Descriptions :

  • Has direct responsibility for compliance and enforcement of pertinent HSSE legislation and HSSE management system in all companys Indonesian work sites;
  • Gives guidance to management, the workforce and contractors on HSSE issues.
  • Provides single point of contact for all aspects of HSSE legislation, regulations and company standards and guidelines. Maintains a current register of legislation and company standards/Guidelines. Keep full electronic and hard copy of all statutory permits, consents etc and all relevant HSSE documents.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities and industrial organisation and represent company to actively participate in the development of reasonable and achievable regulations and standards.
  • Advises on content and implementation of all HSSE MS procedures and guidelines. Ensures and verifies implementation of the company HSSE Management System (HSSE MS) to management.
  • Immediately communicates to management and / or designated workers, any work situation which he/she has good reason to consider to be a danger to the safety and health of workers and the environment or a fire hazard, as well as any deficiencies in protection systems.
