Position Overview

The goal of the Recruitment Specialist is to ensure we are hiring the best possible talent and to effectively deliver maximum value to the organization. You will be responsible for hiring qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to prepare job descriptions and set qualification criteria for future employees
  • Effectively source, screen resumes, and profile highly qualified applicants
  • Performing reference and background checks
  • Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
  • Maintaining relationships with customers to ensure staffing goals are achieved
  • Communicating employer information and benefits during the screening process
  • Staying current on the company’s organizational structure and target headcount, personnel policy, and laws regarding employment practices
  • Serving as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
  • Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events
  • Collecting employee requirements for all new hires before onboarding.
  • Create, publish, and maintain job ads in various portals
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings and effectively manage all recruiting perks and activities
  • Track and report monthly hiring metrics including the cost to hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire
  • Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys

Position Requirements/Qualifications

  • Graduate of BSHRM, BSIE, or BS Psych
  • HR field as a recruiter, sourcing, or branding specialist
  • Excellent sourcing and profiling skills
  • Self-starter, target-oriented, and values-driven personality
  • Can work on US hours
