We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations for one of our valued clients. As an outsourcing partner, we provide top-tier talent that serves as an essential extension of our clients business. In this role, you will be responsible for leading critical financial functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with the clients organizational goals.

You will play a key role in managing end-to-end financial processes, driving operational excellence, and providing insights that support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and experienced in handling complex financial activities while collaborating effectively with leadership, internal teams, and external partners. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end accounting function, ensuring excellence across general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll operations, and comprehensive financial reporting.
  • Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring full adherence to GAAP and internal reporting standards.
  • Champion organizational compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local financial regulations, implementing controls and best practices to mitigate risk.
  • Direct external audit processes and foster strong, strategic relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory partners.
  • Deliver strategic financial insights, trend analysis, and data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to support sound decision-making and long-term organizational growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Masters preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including more than 5 years in leadership roles
  • Public accounting experience strongly preferred
  • US Accounting
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, adaptability, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
