Description of the Works

Combined Cycle Power Plant established in the United Arab Emirates with an estimated duration of 6 / 8 month.

Every 3 months, 15 days of unpaid leave will be granted.

The work schedule would be full-time (10 hours) from Monday to Sunday as a 60h per week (approximately 240h/month).

OPEX would assume, in addition to the salary, the costs of mobilization. transportation, accommodation, etc.

Main Responsabilities

Supervision of Rotating Equipment Maintenance

  • Lead mechanical maintenance activities on major rotating equipment such as gas turbines, steam turbines, pumps, motors, and compressors.
  • Ensure alignment, vibration control, and proper operation of rotating machinery during commissioning and steady-state operation.

Valves and Pumps Overhaul Coordination

  • Coordinate the inspection, calibration, and overhaul of various types of valves (control, safety, isolation) and process pumps (centrifugal, positive displacement).
  • Ensure correct installation, orientation, and leak-free performance post-maintenance.

Equipment Troubleshooting and Repairs

  • Diagnose mechanical failures and abnormal conditions in field equipment; lead corrective actions in collaboration with OEMs and internal teams.
  • Supervise on-site mechanical repairs, replacements, and reconditioning of components to restore operational readiness.

Punch List Management and Deficiency Closure

  • Identify and manage mechanical punch items, missing materials, or incomplete works.
  • Drive resolution of mechanical issues to ensure system acceptance and handover readiness.

Start-up and Commissioning Support

  • Provide mechanical expertise during system pre-commissioning and start-up.
  • Support functional testing of mechanical systems and participate in dynamic commissioning of rotating equipment.

Team Leadership and Safety Compliance

  • Coordinate and lead mechanical technicians and subcontractors on field activities.
  • Ensure all works are executed in compliance with HSE procedures, permit-to-work systems, and quality standards.

Technical Documentation and Reporting

  • Review technical drawings, ITPs, datasheets, and manuals related to rotating and mechanical equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records of mechanical interventions and contribute to final mechanical completion dossiers.
