Description of the work

The scope of the work would be construction and commissioning.

New petrochemical complex in Lillo (Antwerp), Belgium, consisting of an ethane cracker facility together with associated outside battery limit infrastructure.

Key equipments to supervise would be: steam-turbine (Large Utility Units) compressors (BCL9)

Starting April the duration will be at least one year (12 months).

The work schedule would be full-time from Monday to Friday.  Saturday part time. 

Every 3 months, 15 days of unpaid leave will be granted.

important: Possessing a European ID is a required condition.


Main Responsabilities

  • Lead and oversee all rotating equipment installation and pre-commissioning activities on site.
  • Coordinate supervisors, subcontractors, and vendor representatives during critical installation phases.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, OEM requirements, and international standards.
  • Supervise alignment, installation, inspection, testing, and mechanical completion of compressors and pumps.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality, and schedule performance.
  • Manage technical interfaces between construction, engineering, commissioning, and client teams.
  • Oversee punch list closure and system handover to commissioning.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies and promote a strong safety culture on site.
  • Support commissioning and start-up activities, ensuring equipment readiness and integrity.
