Regulatory Affairs Executive Role

Opontia is looking for an executive who is passionate about regulatory affairs, ecommerce and startups to be our Senior Regulatory Affairs Executive in our Istanbul office. In this role your responsibility is to design, and manage, the setup for these five areas (1) regulatory affairs (2) international projects (3) e-fulfilment (4) manufacturer communications and (5) operational & regulatory integration for Opontias brand portfolio in multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating artwork process for the new supplement & cosmetic product launch and following up all labelling requirements including translations, and claim controls with a technical responsible person, and food regulatory consultant & across countries.
  • Following up supplement & cosmetic product related process with technical responsible persons & manufacturers by collecting all required tests, reports, specs & analysis in order to fulfill MoH /MoA demands.
  • Following up on new legislations and regulation amendments for food & cosmetics-related for Turkey &EU & ME markets.
  • Supporting the sourcing and brand management teams with timely execution of sourcing & replenishment plan
  • Providing regulatory support for more complex cross border projects
  • Keeping company database up to date for MoH & MoA product registrations.

The Perfect Fit

  • Degree in life science-related discipline (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Microbiology) or professional equivalent plus at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent oral and written English
  • Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • An independent self-starter who thrives in identifying issues and driving their resolution.
  • Strong execution and strategic thinking skills solve problems in time and quality.
  • Team player, able to foster and nurture relationships with members of cross-functional teams
  • Outstanding communication, planning, and organization skills, including handling multiple projects or issues simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and prioritising time and business relationships.
