Job Overview

We are looking for a Provider Validator / Researcher to support medical records operations by identifying correct provider request methods, conducting research, and maintaining accurate provider information.

This role ensures that medical record requests are sent correctly and efficiently the first time.

Responsibilities

• Research unfamiliar healthcare providers to determine the correct way to request:
  • Medical records
  • Billing records
  • Radiology imaging
  • Physician billing
• Use provider websites, portals, directories, past records, and phone calls to gather accurate information
• Contact providers to confirm request procedures, release processes, and contact details
• Maintain and update a provider database with current request methods and operational notes
• Research hospitals, clinics, imaging centers, and physician groups across new regions
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve request issues and share updated provider information

Required Skills

• Strong research and problem-solving ability

• Clear written and verbal English communication

• Comfortable using online tools, portals, and databases

• High attention to detail

• Organized and process-driven

Preferred Experience

• Experience in medical records retrieval or provider research, especially:

• Provider verification and intake

• Working with healthcare systems and medical records departments

• Requesting medical and billing records

• Communicating with HIM and billing offices

• Experience with retrieval vendors is a plus
