Core Requirements & Qualifications
- Industry Expertise: Must have prior Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy experience for Autism care.
- Communication: High English fluency is mandatory, along with strong phone presence and excellent communication skills.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in patient intake, customer service, or healthcare operations.
- Tech Skills: Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
- Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- General: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Outreach & Initial Screening
- Make prompt outreach calls to prospective families immediately following their online inquiry.
- Conduct comprehensive intake screenings to collect missing information and determine initial eligibility for services.
- Provide empathetic support, serving as a trusted guide from the first family touchpoint.
2. Lead Management & Documentation
- Accurately record and manage all intake data in Salesforce, ensuring meticulous record-keeping.
- Convert qualified leads into opportunities for the next stage and hand off to the appropriate teams for benefits verification and authorization.
- Manage lead lifecycle by appropriately closing out or disqualifying applications when necessary.
3. Conversion & Follow-Up
- Proactively re-engage families who have stopped communication to ensure a strong client conversion rate.
- Provide necessary support for after-hours and weekend intake coverage to maximize client capture rate.
4. Collaboration & Quality Assurance
- Work closely with managers to strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Assurance (QA) expectations.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Clinical and Revenue Cycle Management) to ensure a smooth transition from intake to active care.
