Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Hardware Development & Integration Engineer to lead and define complex hardware architectures.

The role includes:

• Defining hardware architecture for avionic systems, including electronic enclosures, boards, and firmware.

• Managing and leading hardware development executed by subcontractors.

• Formulating requirements, writing technical specifications, and drafting Statements of Work (SOW).

• Leading hardware design reviews (PDR/CDR).

• Managing work plans for hardware development, testing, and integration.

• Collaborating closely with cross-functional interfaces, including Software, Firmware, Mechanics, and Systems Engineering.

• Leading environmental stress testing (HALT) and qualification/environmental testing for hardware.

• Participating in system-level integration and field testing.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – Mandatory.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in hardware development (board/enclosure design) and system integration – Mandatory.

• Strong system-level perspective and the ability to design hardware architectures for large-scale projects – Mandatory.

• Proven familiarity with hardware communication interfaces: SPI, I2C, Ethernet, RS-422, MIL-STD-1553 – Mandatory.

• Experience managing subcontractors – Mandatory.

Advantages

• Experience working with CPU and/or FPGA components.

• Experience in analog design, power supply design, or an RF design background.
