Responsibilities
In charge of the electro-optics Lab in the Haifa site
Procure and maintain necessary test equipment
Design and implement unified SW for instrument control
Maintain alignment and communality with the optical lab in the US
Handle necessary laser safety requirements
Understand principles of current testers and the requirements/effects of each instrument
Perform evaluation of optical instrumentation and expected performance on tested parts
Design experiments per requirements (including purchasing necessary HW)
Perform experiments and analyze results
Write technical test reports and conclusions
Research and test improvements to the current tester
Requirements/Criteria
Education: BSc in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optics, or a related field
Skills: Proficiency in Python, Matlab, and Excel
Experience: 3+ years of experience in optical or electrical testing or a development environment
Personal Attributes: Broad technical curiosity, strong analytical skills, and high attention to detail
Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions
Growth Mindset: Ability and eagerness to learn new technologies
English: Good writing and verbal communication skills
Travel: Willingness to travel abroad (up to once every 2 months)
