Material Planner

Material Planner 
A leading Deep Tech company specializing in the development and manufacturing of night-vision detectors, located in Misgav, is looking for a Material Planner.
Key Responsibilities:

• Material Planning Leadership: Analyzing MRP and generating purchase requisitions
  
• Decision-making regarding expedition, deferral, or cancellation of orders based on the production schedule
  
• Identifying and managing material risks and their impact on deliveries
  
• Managing inventory levels and balancing material availability with cost
  
• Ongoing collaboration with Procurement, Production, Engineering, and Quality teams
  
• Full integration between the production plan and material availability (Execution)
  
• Ability to work with forecasts and derive insights from data
  

Basic Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management / B.A. in Economics – Significant advantage
  
• 4+ years of experience in material planning or PPC (Production Planning and Control) – Required
  
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle – Advantage)
  
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and BI systems
  

Required Experience & Competencies:

• Experience in material planning within a complex manufacturing environment or PPC – Required
  
• Experience in the Electronics, Semiconductor, Defense, or Product-based industries – Required!
  
• Deep understanding of MRP, system maintenance, and planning parameters within ERP systems
  
• Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven mindset
  
• End-to-End systemic view of the supply chain
  
• Proactive decision-making under conditions of uncertainty
  
• Solid understanding of complex, multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs) and multi-stage processes
