We are seeking a Development Infrastructure Lead specializing in Signal Processing and Wireless Communications.

In this role, you will take full ownership of the development labs, including infrastructure, specialized equipment, and dedicated computing environments. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure operational excellence and support next-generation technology development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lab Management & Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of development labs, ensuring complete ownership over technical infrastructure, equipment, and computing resources.
  • Equipment Maintenance & Setups: Maintain test equipment, organize and build complex testing setups, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide real-time solutions.
  • Advanced Infrastructure Operation: Operate an antenna range lab and manage advanced infrastructure, including GNSS simulators, atomic clocks, thermal chambers, antennas, adapters, and specialized RF equipment.
  • Procurement & Technical Specification: Gather requirements from R&D engineers, write technical specifications, catalog equipment, manage the ordering process, and interface with vendors, contractors, and warehouse logistics.
  • Lab Deployment: Establish new laboratories as needed and support various development sites across the facility.
  • Lab IT Maintenance: Create and deploy dedicated OS images, install specialized software, manage user permissions, and coordinate closely with the corporate IT team.
  • Safety & Compliance: Act as the safety lead for the labs, monitoring potential hazards, conducting annual safety briefings, and overseeing routine safety and radiation inspections.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with a wide range of interfaces, including R&D engineers (setting up test benches and providing technical service), IT teams, security and cyber units, maintenance, electricity, construction, and external contractors.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Practical Engineer (Handasai) or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field – Must.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in laboratory infrastructure management – Must.
  • Military Background: Alumnus of a military technological unit – Significant Advantage.
  • Lab Leadership: Proven experience in laboratory management.
  • RF Expertise: Solid, proven experience in RF environments.
  • Test Equipment Proficiency: Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (e.g., Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, etc.).
  • Test Benches: Proven experience in designing and building complex test setups.
  • Fieldwork: Readiness and willingness to perform hands-on work in the lab and field environments.
  • Environmental Testing: Experience supporting environmental stress screening (ESS / environmental conditions testing) – Advantage.
  • Hands-on Skills: Experience with soldering and hardware assembly – Advantage.
