The Opportunity

What you will do
Lead system integration activities between LiDAR and peripheral modules, from initial bring-up through validation and customer deployment. Integrate various hardware modules, firmware, software, tools, and algorithms into a unified system, ensuring seamless functionality across disciplines, with particular emphasis on interfaces and communication protocols. Plan and execute (hands-on) system-level integration tests, debug complex issues, and drive root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams. Develop and maintain integration workflows, test setups, and automation tools to accelerate development and validation. Collaborate on requirements refinement, system architecture discussions, and design reviews to ensure integration readiness. Build Python-based tools for data analysis, test automation, and rapid prototyping to support integration and characterization activities.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience in multidisciplinary system integration or system engineering. B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent from a leading institution (M.Sc. is an advantage). Experienced with integration and debugging of end-to-end systems, including HW and SW interfaces, communication protocols, power considerations, reliability, etc. Experience in the different layers of communications based on Ethernet (such as TCP/IP, UDP/IP, PTP and more), as well as other communication protocols such as MIPI, SPI, and CAN/FD. Proficiency in Python and Wireshark for data analysis, automation, and test development. Hands-on experience with lab equipment, system characterization, and physical measurements. Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and development environments. Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
