The Opportunity

We are looking for a brilliant Senior Physics Engineer to join our elite Physics and Electro-Optics group in Misgav. Role and Responsibilities: The Physicist will be part of a team dedicated to IR-detector development in the physics group. He will participate to the conception and development of detectors and accompany its development through the different stages of the projects from conception to inception at customer's. The physicist will also support the production line and should provide insights from physics perspective to the different functions of the company during the project development: Process teams, material growth, VLSI, Electronics, Mechanics, Marketing. The physicist should will have a system view of the detector with capability to understand the underlying physics process at material level, VLSI, and system level. The position includes important part of experimental work in laboratory environment, simulations development, data analysis and regular reports to management and project development team. The lead physicist should demonstrate important autonomy and leadership capabilities.
Background requirements:
- Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Optics, Aeronautical Engineering or related field in engineering.
- M.Sc. Candidate with relevant background, achievement and excellent record.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience – an advantage.
- Strong technical experience in at least two of the following fields: Semiconductors, Solid State Physics, Electro-Optics Devices, Lasers, Image Processing, Optics, Simulations, data analysis.
Skillset Requirements:
- Proficiency in Matlab is mandatory, Python a strong advantage.
- Excellent Analytical Skills with Data-Driven Mindset.

- Demonstrated leadership capabilities is an important advantage.
