Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Technical Leadership: Provide horizontal professional leadership for the electronics and software domains, including hardware, firmware, software, and image processing algorithms.
  • Design Authority: Conduct technical oversight and design reviews for development teams across the division.
  • Knowledge Management: Responsible for the management, preservation, and expansion of technical knowledge and professional standards across all product lines.
  • Tooling & Standards: Establish unified development standards and manage the selection and maintenance of advanced development tools and methodologies.
  • System Architecture: Serve as the professional authority for product architecture in electronics and software, ensuring alignment with product management goals.
  • Direct Management: Manage a team of subject matter experts (SMEs) in image processing, PC software, and Electronics/Software NPI.
  • Outsourcing & Partnerships: Identify, evaluate, and implement sub-contractors and external partners to support internal development teams.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from a recognized academic institution – Mandatory.
  • M.Sc. in a relevant field – Significant Advantage.

Professional Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience in Hardware or FPGA development – Mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing development teams in the electronics and software sectors.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Experience as a Systems Engineer – Advantage.
  • In-depth familiarity with night-vision technologies and image processing – Advantage.

  • Hardware Architecture: Deep understanding and proven experience in hardware architecture is a must.
