Location: Paarl
Role Purpose:
- The Consumables Consultant is responsible for driving consumable sales by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- The role requires a results-driven individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for consumables.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and telesales follow-ups.
- Identify and prospect for new clients via telesales and other lead generation methods.
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable consumable solutions.
- Maintain accurate sales records and update the CRM system with all interactions.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Provide after-sales support and manage client queries professionally.
- Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for business growth.
Skills & Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or higher qualification.
- Previous experience in consumables or office supplies sales will be advantageous.
- Strong telesales and cold-calling skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
