Purpose of the job

Manage the different HR operation domains including Payroll ,Personnel, Medical & Insurance Services, and Performance Management.

Lead the provision of a high quality and responsive HR Service, co-ordinating the workflow and ensuring that the team is actively engaged in the continuous improvement of all HR Operations.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Payroll Management
    Oversee the planning and coordination of the end-to-end payroll process to ensure accurate and timely salary payments in compliance with Egyptian labor laws and organizational policies.
    Supervise the maintenance and updating of payroll systems to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
    Oversee collaboration with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accurate reporting.
    Manage the oversight of employee deductions, benefits, and statutory contributions to ensure legal compliance.
  • Personnel Administration
    Supervise the management of all personnel-related activities, including onboarding, offboarding, employee records management, and data accuracy.
    Ensure the development and enforcement of policies to maintain compliance with labor laws, social insurance regulations, and company policies.
    Maintain oversight of relationships with external entities such as the Labor Office and Social Insurance Office to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Medical & Insurance Services
    Manage the oversight of employee medical insurance programs, including enrollment, claims processing, and vendor relationships.
    Supervise the administration of life insurance, pension plans, and other employee welfare programs to ensure alignment with organizational policies.
    Oversee periodic review and updating of insurance policies to optimize coverage and cost-efficiency.
    Ensure compliance with GDPR and data security standards in the management of sensitive employee information.
  • Performance Management
    Lead the planning and coordination of the performance management cycle, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback sessions.
    Supervise the development and implementation of tools and processes to support continuous performance improvement.
    Oversee the analysis of performance data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for development.
    Guide and support managers and employees on performance management best practices.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis
    Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and dashboards related to HR operations, costs, and compliance.
    Supervise data analysis activities to evaluate HR programs, identify challenges, and develop actionable insights.
    Ensure the use of HR systems (such as Oracle) to generate strategic insights supporting decision-making.
  • Process Improvement & Compliance
    Supervise the review and optimization of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, training, and offboarding.
    Oversee the development and enforcement of policies to ensure they are current, compliant with Egyptian laws, and aligned with organizational objectives.
    Lead initiatives to automate and streamline HR operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    Supervise the performance management and development of the HR operations team.
    Promote a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, performance evaluations, and development planning.
    Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
  • Cross-Functional & Strategic Initiatives
    Participate in organizational projects and initiatives that support business growth and HR transformation.
    Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR operations align with overall organizational strategies.
    Support change management efforts through effective communication and training initiatives.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    Oversee compliance with all HR-related reporting and regulatory requirements.
    Supervise the organization of awareness sessions, focus groups, and training programs to promote HR best practices.
    Ensure the confidentiality and security of all employee records and HR resources.

Job specification

Education

  • University graduate from a recognized university.
  • Advanced studies in HR are an asset.

Experience

  • Experience in dealing with Numbers, Excel & Powerpoint .
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar position.
  • Working on systems such as Oracle.

Skills and abilities

  • Extensive HR experience in senior roles and good knowledge of Human Resources Management software.
  • Excellent English both spoken and written.
  • Very good computer skills.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
