Purpose of the job

Manages data charging projects & bundled offers (new data experience, broadband, wifi, buckets, offers, promotions, reprising, handset bundles etc) end to end from Charging side, perform all activities related to project management, managing technical and business aspects of projects engagements including solution design, development, unit testing until deployment on live system nodes ensuring the achievement of the project with the agreed upon scope, budget and time plan.

Duties and responsibilities

  1. Responsible for delivery of data charging projects end to end from charging side, including solution design, development (in-house or supplier), unit testing and deployment on live system nodes
  2. Responsible for delivery of bundled, recharge, acquisition offers end to end, including solution design with all relevant teams, development (in-house or supplier), unit testing and deployment on live system nodes
  3. Responsible for the management and delivery of assigned projects, handling efficiently multiple internal and external stakeholders
  4. Handles the in-house development on all charging system nodes
  5. Functions as Charging reference for the charging solution
  6. Communicate with the vendors to be up to date with their road map
  7. As charging interface, participates in major release upgrades for all charging system nodes, and ensure their impact on current services / offers / promotions
  8. Handles the alignment with Operations team for deployment planning and handover all agreed upon deliverables
  9. Act as second level of support for operations team and promptly react to customer complaints and fix any issue once identified in order maximize customer satisfaction
  10. Technically validating any supplier offer and plan and optimizing them as much as possible before proceeding with any approvals
  11. Manage the supplier and follow up on the project plan from solution phase until deployment on live system, and ensuring deliverables are done on time with the agreed scope and quality
  12. Follow up with operation & support functions on deployment and post launch tests for supplier related

Job specification

Education:

Bachelor degree in Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering or Computer Science

Experience 

  1. 0-2 years of experience in the IT / Telecom field
  2. Software development Experience, Java , SQL
  3. Basic knowledge of GSM environment & protocols
  4. Hands-on experience on OCS nodes
  5. Basic experience in project management
