About the job Lead, USSD

Purpose of the job

Handling USSD projects as Dev-Ops model, starting from feasibility study, integration , Go-live activities, in addition to handling operational tasks after going live.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Developing new services & advancing changes in existing USSD flows.
  • Handling deployments on USSD platform.
  • Monitoring service KPIs for all USSD services, and ensuring service stability.
  • Performing regular checks on USSD platform for ensuring operations efficiency.
  • Tackling any global or individual incident related to USSD.
  • Maintaining accountability of new systems upgrades & extensions.
  • Accepting and validating new features implementation, and software upgrades.
  • Performing planned actions during low traffic & handling open cases with vendors & customer complaints related to regular On-call duties.

Job specification

Education

Bachelor degree in Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.

Experience

0 - 2 years of experience in telecom industry.

Skills and abilities

  • Very good English both written and spoken.
  • Very good Microsoft office knowledge.
  • Good UNIX admin skills.
  • Basic networking skills.
  • Project management Skills
