Purpose of the job

The Organizational Development Specialist will support OD objectives and goals by optimizing headcount, updating organizational structures, and providing comprehensive HR reporting and analysis

Duties and responsibilities

  1.  Assist in planning and executing headcount optimization initiatives.
  2. Analyze workforce data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  3. Develop and maintain headcount reports and dashboards.
  4. Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and align headcount strategies with organizational goals.
  5. Support the design and implementation of changes to the organizational structure.
  6. Maintain up-to-date organizational charts and hierarchy maps.
  7. Facilitate communication and documentation of structural changes across the organization.
  8. Ensure alignment of the organization structure with business strategy and operational efficiency.
  9. Prepare and distribute regular HR reports, including headcount, turnover, and other key metrics.
  10. Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights that inform HR and OD strategies.
  11. Develop and maintain HR databases and reporting tools.
  12. Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting support as required.
  13. Conduct research and benchmarking to support OD projects.
  14. Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
  15. Work closely with HR business partners, department heads, and other stakeholders to understand and address organizational needs

Job specification

Education

- Bachelors degree in business administration, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, Organizational Development, or a similar role

Skills and abilities

  • Experience with HRIS and data analytics tools.
  • Understanding of organizational structures and workforce planning.
  • Proven track record of supporting HR and OD projects from conception to completion.
