Purpose of the job

  • Orchestrate the bidding process and Offers Submissions for Orange ICT Solutions & Services.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification through submitting compelling proposals as per Orange Standards.
  • Plan, engage & manage required resources to ensure full compliance with Orange customers requirements.
  • Build up comprehensive bid responses with high precision and in adherence to Orange guidelines.
  • Ensures proper timely engagement and efficient coordination with all internal & External stakeholders to secure approvals gates, accurate costs plus terms to achieve effective bidding offers. That includes but not limited to: Presales, BDMS, PMO, SMB, Marketing, Delivery, QA, Finance Decision Support, Taxation, Supply chain, Procurement, legal & Compliance teams plus External Vendors / Suppliers to ensure all aspects of a bid are fully covered & properly fulfilled.
  • Maintain & manage comprehensive and accurate bid documentations: records of communication, Approvals & and pricing plus terms details.
  • Continuously refine and improve bid processes, templates, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Job specification

Education

  • Bachelors degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Master of Business Administration is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years experience as bid manager or a similar role with the ICT Domain in Egypt.
  • Demonstrated Experience orchestrating complex Mega local or international Tenders.
  • Strong Knowledge of the Egyptian ICT Domain including but not limited to: Key Suppliers & Vendors, contractual laws & regulations.
  • Solid collaboration with various cross-functional teams and proven capabilities to influence various stakeholders across various levels.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Build up end to end Mega, Complex ICT proposals across the following domains: Networking, Security, Cloud, SW Development & ICT Consultancy.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Solid Understanding pricing strategies and financial analysis in bid development.
  • Strong Negotiations Skills.
  • High Teamwork Skills.
  • Written & Oral Fluency in English & Arabic. (French is a plus)
