About the Role :
As a Sales Manager Enterprise Software, you will lead and scale our enterprise sales initiatives across Southeast Asia, with a strong focus on Malaysia. At Orangeleaf Consulting, we empower enterprises to drive digital transformation using the Mendix low-code platform, enabling rapid application development without traditional coding.
You will be responsible for managing and expanding our sales portfolio, developing market strategies, and driving revenue growth through direct client engagement. Your ability to blend strategic planning with hands-on sales execution will be key to Orangeleafs growth in this fast-expanding market.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture executive-level relationships with enterprise clients, including C-level stakeholders, to drive trust and long-term partnerships.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to grow Mendix platform adoption and Orangeleafs consulting services in Malaysia and broader Southeast Asia.
- Leverage your extensive C-suite network to create new business opportunities and accelerate the sales cycle.
- Monitor and drive sales performance metrics, including pipeline development, forecast accuracy, team targets, and revenue attainment.
- Deliver strategic sales presentations and proposals in C-level engagements, collaborating with pre-sales and technical teams to align solutions with client needs.
- Excel at meeting or exceeding goals for qualified monthly appointments, monthly deal forecasts, and annual revenue targets.
- Articulate persuasive value propositions around our products and services, effectively conveying their benefits to potential clients.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and client success.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline to drive ongoing opportunities and successful outcomes.
- Manage contract negotiations to achieve favourable terms and conditions for the company and clients.
- Cultivate and develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts to ensure sustained business growth.
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to senior leadership, ensuring visibility of market trends, sales opportunities, and overall performance.
- Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture that promotes knowledge sharing, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Over 5 years in technology-related business development or sales roles, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience selling subscription-based software to enterprise clients.
- Proven ability to identify, develop, negotiate, and close large-scale technology deals.
- Consistent history of meeting and exceeding sales targets, including experience with global accounts and C-level executive interactions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compelling executive presence and fluency in English.
- Proven track record of leading sales to meet or exceed revenue goals, particularly in subscription-based software and digital transformation solutions.
- Demonstrated success in converting initial calls into viable business opportunities and advancing them through the sales pipeline.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large enterprise deals and nurturing strategic accounts in diverse industries.
- Highly analytical, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to operate in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Deep understanding of Southeast Asia's business landscape, especially within Malaysia's enterprise technology sector.
Salary Package
RM 8,000 to RM 14,000
