Job Description:

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations, Assets monitoring and management, develop and implement strategies to ensure the efficient flow of products, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Plan and manage inventory levels to meet operations demands while minimizing holding costs.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of all assets, including their location, condition, and status.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of asset records.
  • Perform random checks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities and achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor suppliers' performance and establish strong relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Analyze demand forecasts, and operations conditions to optimize inventory planning and Suppliers production scheduling.
  • Manage overseas vendors/supplier relations.
  • Identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within the supply chain and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Utilize supply chain management system and software to enhance visibility, accuracy and efficiency in tracking and managing inventory and orders.
  • Monitor KPIs and metrics to evaluate supply chain performance and identify areas for optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and ethical practices within the supply chain.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • 10-15 Years of experience out of which 5 - 7 years in a leadership position.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze complex data.
  • Data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiar with supply chain management software and systems.
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (Import and Export Practice Certificate from the Cairo Chamber of Commerce); other professional certificates (e.g., APICS, CSCP) are considered a plus.
