About the Role:
The Creative Assistant II will be a visual creator that can turn marketing briefs and ideations into finished marketing assets for the client. Produce video-first content, graphics, stationary ads, and thumbnails that support the podcast, direct response campaigns, and recruiting.
Key Responsibilities:
Video & Motion
- Produce full length podcasts (video & audio)
- Edit short form clips (9:16 and 16:9) from podcast episodes, adding captions, b roll and light animation/texts to compliment clips.
- Create hooks for the intro of clips
- Ability to mix clean audio (will provide existing working framework we use), basic color correction and loudness normalization for streaming platforms
- Edit video ads when needed for funnels/landing pages, lead magnets and recruiting
- High efficiency in After Effects to create motion infographics, video explainers, animated texts – We do use templates when possible (this doesn't have to come from scratch)
Design/Brand
- Design high CTR thumbnails for podcasts and short form clips
- Design stationary media for funnels, ads, carousels and social media that maintain brand image
- Deliver any design material in sizes required per platform spec (YT, LI, IG, web)
- Design additional creative for lead magnets
- Design creative for monthly newsletter
Web & Additional Support
- Basic understanding of CRM platforms (Specifically Go High Level)
- Ability to create and design monthly newsletter within Go High Level
- Maintaining clean file structure and deliverables on cloud server
- 2x Per Week virtual stand up to sync on creative
- Ability to work off written briefs or video notes and not afraid to ask questions
- Hybrid work setup, with occasional on-site reporting as required by business needs
- Work schedule may be adjusted based on operational requirements (8am to 5PM EST)
- And other ad hoc tasks that is relevant to business needs
Skills And Qualifications:
- 3–4 yrs; short-form clips, thumbnails, basic AE templates; active Resolve user
- Strong attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in using multiple software systems and portals (Salesforce, Global Warranty, internal accounting/ERP tools)
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player
- Flexibility to adapt to changing processes and workflows as the client's business grows
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors/suppliers
Educational background required / desired:
- Multimedia Arts
- Digital Media / Digital Marketing
- Graphic Design
- Visual Communication / Visual Design
- Film, Video Production, or Media Arts
- Advertising / Creative Marketing
Other requirements:
- Excellent English comprehension; crisp typography and layout instincts
- Able to overlap at least 4 hours with US/Eastern (Mon–Fri) for reviews
- Comfortable working from checklists and hitting deadlines without babysitting
- High attention to detail: brand consistency, spelling, kerning, safe areas
- Hardware/connection: Modern windows machine; stable high-speed internet (download/upload); color-calibrated workflow preferred
Software Requirements:
- Video Editing (NLE): DaVinci Resolve (preferred), After Effects
- Design: Adobe Photoshop | Adobe Illustrator | Adobe InDesign (nice to have)
- Captions: Opus Clip (will provide account), or templates in Resolve/Premiere
- Project & File Database: Google Drive, Notion, Trello
Nice to have:
- Complete Podcast content packaging (hook writing, descriptions, title ideas, chaptering etc.)
- Landing Page/Funnel slide design experience
- Familiarity with trades/field service or B2B service marketing
