About the Role:
The Instructional Designer is responsible in providing structured, high-quality execution to clean, standardize, modularize, and catalog approximately 100 training slide decks for the client. This role ensures brand consistency, usability, proper metadata tagging, and prepares a brand-flipped duplicate set for the partner organization. The work supports scaling efforts of the client and enables mentors to assemble 2-to-3-hour workshops efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, clean, and standardize ~100 PowerPoint decks following approved Master Template.
- Apply correct typography, color palette, logo placement, and visual hierarchy.
- Modularize slides by topic (Budgeting, Savings, Credit, SEL, etc.) and time (20 min, 40 min, 60 min, 120 min).
- Ensure metadata tagging (topic, duration, audience, prerequisites, last updated).
- Support creation of a searchable catalog (SharePoint).
- Execute brand-flip for extension organization (palette + logo swap).
- Perform visual QA and correct inconsistencies in formatting, branding, spacing, and readability.
- Maintain throughput tracker and provide progress updates in weekly/twice-weekly check-ins.
Skills & Qualifications
- Expert in PowerPoint production, slide master creation, and layout standardization.
- Strong understanding of branding, formatting, alignment, spacing, and visual design.
- Ability to interpret content intent to group slides logically.
- Strong organizational and metadata tagging capability.
- Experience working with SharePoint, Google Drive, or Airtable is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines (30-day timeline).
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time (with flexibility for feedback cycles).
