About The Role:
The Master Data Analyst will provide focused, short‑term execution to clean and correct asset‑level data in Oracle NetSuite to stabilize day‑to‑day operations while the Customer Master Data Management (CMDM) program is designed and implemented. The Master Data Analyst will be responsible for providing support in managing and maintaining master data, ensuring accuracy and completeness. This role executes clearly defined cleanup and data maintenance tasks, as well as assists with data entry and validation following prescribed steps.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Review and Cleanup
- Regularly review and update master data records to ensure they reflect the most current and accurate information.
- Verify the correctness of data, identifying duplicates or outdated entries, and making necessary corrections or updates.
Maintenance
- Maintain organized and well-documented records of all master data activities and changes.
- Keep track of data sources, updates, and any issues encountered during the data entry or validation process.
- Serve as the ERP subject matter reference for customer data
Validation Coordination
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data integrity issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and verify data requirements.
- Maintain effective communication channels to address any master data-related queries or concerns promptly.
- Respond to email requests in a timely manner
Data Execution
- Enter data into master data systems, including customer information, product details, pricing, and other relevant data elements.
- Perform thorough data validation checks to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies.
Process Adherence and Reporting
- Generate and prepare reports on master data-related activities, including data entry volumes, error rates, and data quality metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis of data trends or patterns.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve data management processes and systems.
- Suggest enhancements to streamline data entry and validation procedures, minimize errors, and increase efficiency.
- Assist in implementing data quality control measures and procedures to enhance data accuracy and reliability.
Others
- Eventually support the main CMDM project.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (Preferred focus in business, accounting, analytics, or related field), or an Associate Degree with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Education or certifications in Data Management or related fields is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Experience in ERP and CRM Systems.
- Ability to respond effectively and quickly to internal and external customer needs and issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to participate in projects within a multi-functional team.
Nice to have but not required:
- experience with SQL or other query languages is a plus.
