Financial Analyst
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive analyst who thrives on accuracy, structure, and continuous improvement. You will manage recurring reporting cycles, support forecasting and cost center management, partner closely with accounting, and help build scalable processes as the business expands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting & Data Analysis
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, often pulling data from multiple systems, legacy environments, and newly acquired operations.
- Ensure all reports are accurate, on time, and aligned with evolving business requirements.
- Manipulate, analyze, and interpret large data sets using Excel and other analytical tools.
- Build and improve reporting templates, dashboards, and automated processes to increase efficiency and visibility.
Process Documentation & Improvements
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all recurring reporting and analytical processes.
- Streamline reporting workflows to support a business undergoing frequent change and integration activity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement that enhance consistency, reduce manual effort, and support scaling during M&A growth.
- Contribute to policy development initiatives within the Finance function.
Financial Planning, Forecasting & Variance Analysis
- Own corporate cost center expense management, including tracking, forecasting, monthly reporting, and variance explanations.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis, identifying key drivers, trends, and anomalies for leadership review.
- Partner with the Accounting team to ensure accurate coding, proper allocation of expenses, and alignment between actuals and forecasts.
- Support budgeting, forecasting cycles, and strategic planning across the organization.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling; Power Query a plus).
- Experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or operations analysis preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment with multiple data sources due to acquisitions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner across finance, accounting, and operations.
