Talent Acquisition Officer
The Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure the timely sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring of high-quality candidates for various positions within Origo.
This role involves active sourcing of candidates, managing job advertisements, process referrals, and coordinating the interview process with hiring managers and clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand specific job requirements and refine job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Actively source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to meet the recruitment needs as per the Manpower Requisition Form (MRF).
- Create and post engaging job advertisements to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to anticipate future hiring needs.
- Administer and manage candidate assessments, ensuring timely evaluation and feedback.
- Facilitate initial interviews to assess candidates skills, experience, and cultural fit with the organization.
- Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of candidate interviews, including hiring manager interviews, and executive interviews.
- Partner with the HR team to ensure alignment of recruitment activities with the overall strategic goals of the organization.
- Manage the offer process, including extending offers and negotiating terms of employment.
- Ensure a high hired acceptance rate by providing positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Track and analyze reasons for candidate rejections to improve the recruitment process and enhance offer acceptance rates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Prepare and present reports on key recruitment metrics, such as the number of sourced candidates per MRF, average time to interview, and acceptance rates.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.
- Supports the Talent Acquisition Manager in maintaining data and reports needed to support the needs of the management in terms of KPI and key results.
- Knowledgeable in Talent Marketing and Branding
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Educational background required / desired:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
Years of experience required / desired:
- Proven 2+years of Recruitment, Talent Acquisition experience.
- Experience in technical recruiting is a plus
Communications skills (English Proficiency) required / desired:
- Excellent (at least 9/10)*
MS Office applications proficiency required / desired:
- Excellent (at least 9/10)*
Other qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
- Proven experience in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for various roles.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate assessment techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Knowledgeable in salesforce and data reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Other tasks are to be performed from time to time.
