ABOUT THE ROLE:

The License and Insurance Compliance Administrator is responsible for ensuring that all Loft Owner licenses and insurance policies are current, valid, and compliant with applicable state and local regulations. This role supports risk mitigation efforts by maintaining accurate records, coordinating renewals, and ensuring legal and contractual requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines in a regulated environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Track, maintain, and audit all customer licenses to ensure compliance with state and local regulations. This includes professional licenses, such as cosmetology or barbering licenses, as well as establishment licenses, such as mini-salon suite licenses. insurance requirements for Loft Owners not covered under Salon Lofts commercial insurance policy.
  • Track, maintain, and audit customer insurance policies, as required under various sublease forms, for Loft Owners not covered under Salon Lofts Commercial insurance policy.
  • Monitor expiration dates and proactively manage renewals to ensure continuous compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct periodic audits of licenses and insurance records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain compliance databases and filing systems (electronic).
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
  • Communicate compliance requirements and updates to relevant departments.
  • Assist in developing and improving compliance processes and procedures.
  • Address compliance issues promptly and escalate risks when necessary.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in compliance, licensing, insurance administration, or a related role preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and document management systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.
