Job Description

  • Manage and mentor junior attorneys and support staff through all phases of personal injury litigation and case management.
  • Oversee a high-volume plaintiff-side personal injury caseload while ensuring matters are handled efficiently, strategically, and professionally.
  • Guide case strategy, workflow, delegation, litigation deadlines, and attorney development within the team.
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery responses, deposition materials, court documents, and trial preparation materials.
  • Conduct legal research and support litigation strategy across a range of personal injury matters.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, staff, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties involved in each case.
  • Help maintain strong client relationships by ensuring clients are informed, supported, and well represented throughout the litigation process.
  • Lead by example in a fast-paced litigation environment while promoting accountability, organization, and strong professional standards.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school required.
  • Active license to practice law in New York required.
  • 3+ years of New York plaintiff-side personal injury experience required.
  • Experience managing a personal injury caseload from inception through litigation, settlement, and trial preparation.
  • Ability to mentor junior attorneys and work effectively with support staff.
  • Strong legal writing, research, communication, delegation, and case management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize deadlines, manage workflow, and lead effectively in a high-volume litigation environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
  • Experience with case management systems preferred.
  • Filevine experience is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship.
