Location:

This is a full time on site position based in Jupiter, Florida, offering a professional office environment and a close knit team setting.

Note:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of hands on experience in probate or civil litigation to be considered.

Job Description

  • Assist attorneys with estate planning, probate, guardianship, and civil litigation matters from start to finish
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, estate documents, and related legal materials
  • Conduct legal research and prepare initial drafts for attorney review
  • Track deadlines, court dates, filings, and case milestones
  • Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and court personnel regarding case status and documentation
  • Maintain accurate files while ensuring confidentiality and compliance
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and staff to keep cases moving efficiently

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience
  • 2 plus years of experience in probate or civil litigation
  • Strong legal writing, research, and organizational skills
  • Experience using Westlaw, Microsoft Word, Excel, and legal case management systems
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines
  • Professional communication style and attention to detail
