Location:
Kansas City, Missouri. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for an attorney who wants to be closely connected to clients, cases, and a collaborative legal team. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Note:
Candidates must have 3+ years of personal injury litigation and/or trial experience and an active Missouri and/or Kansas Bar license. We are seeking a proactive, highly organized attorney who can take ownership of cases, work collaboratively, maintain high standards, and provide exceptional representation to injured clients.

Job Description
- Develop litigation strategy and take ownership of executing that strategy from filing through resolution or trial.
- Handle personal injury litigation matters and advocate for strong client outcomes.
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other litigation documents.
- Review and approve discovery requests and responses.
- Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials as needed.
- Negotiate with insurance companies, defense attorneys, and other parties.
- Communicate directly with clients with empathy, transparency, and professionalism.
- Review medical records, reports, damages, and other evidence needed to fully develop cases.
- Work closely with paralegals and legal assistants to keep cases organized and moving forward.
- Oversee settlement and lien-reduction matters through successful resolution.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of directly relevant personal injury litigation and/or trial experience.
- Active Missouri and/or Kansas Bar license; admission in both states is preferred.
- Experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters strongly preferred.
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
- Experience working directly with clients and insurance companies.
- Deposition, mediation, hearing, and/or trial experience.
- Strong organization, prioritization, communication, and case-management skills.
- Proactive, accountable, collaborative, and committed to exceptional client service.
