Job Description
- Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning strategies.
- Develop and implement comprehensive estate plans involving wills, trusts, and wealth transfer strategies.
- Analyze taxable estates and identify opportunities for effective estate and tax planning.
- Counsel clients regarding federal and state estate, gift, and related tax considerations.
- Draft and review complex estate planning and tax documents.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and provide clear, practical legal guidance.
- Collaborate with attorneys, financial professionals, and other advisors on complex planning matters.
- Manage multiple sophisticated matters independently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Stay current on developments in estate, gift, trust, and tax law.
Qualifications
- Active bar license in any U.S. state.
- 3+ years of estate planning experience.
- 3+ years of experience handling taxable estates and/or estate tax planning.
- Strong knowledge of estate and gift tax concepts.
- Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and client communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage sophisticated client matters.
- Strong judgment and a high level of professionalism.
