Location:

This position is fully remote for attorneys currently based in Colorado or Utah, with a hybrid option available for candidates in the Denver Metro Area.

Note:

Candidates must be admitted to the Colorado or Utah Bar and have 2+ years of legal experience. Workers' compensation defense or insurance defense experience is highly preferred.

Job Description

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of workers' compensation defense matters from assignment through resolution.
  • Develop case strategy, analyze claims, conduct legal research, and provide practical recommendations to clients.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, reports, and other litigation documents.
  • Participate in hearings, depositions, negotiations, and other stages of the litigation process.
  • Maintain strong communication with employers, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other parties.
  • Manage deadlines, calendars, billing requirements, and an active caseload in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support professionals while taking meaningful ownership of your matters.

Qualifications

  • Active Colorado or Utah Bar admission required.
  • 2+ years of legal or litigation experience.
  • Workers' compensation defense or insurance defense experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, writing, communication, case management, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Additional state bar admissions are a plus.
