Location: This is a full-time, on-site position in Lower Manhattan, offering the benefit of working closely with an experienced legal team in a collaborative office environment.
Note: Must have 3+ years of workers' compensation attorney experience and be admitted in New York. This is a workers' comp role and not a litigation-side personal injury position.

Job Description
- Handle workers' compensation matters on behalf of injured workers from intake through resolution
- Manage files, deadlines, and case strategy across an active caseload
- Communicate with clients regarding benefits, treatment, status, and next steps
- Prepare and review filings, applications, and other workers' compensation documents
- Appear for hearings, conferences, and other proceedings before the relevant board or tribunal
- Work with medical records, wage information, and supporting documentation to advance claims
- Negotiate settlements and help drive matters toward favorable outcomes
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to move cases efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
- 3+ years of workers' compensation attorney experience
- Admitted to practice in New York
- Strong familiarity with workers' compensation claims handling and appearances
- Ability to manage files independently and communicate effectively with clients
- Organized, responsive, and comfortable in a fast-paced plaintiff-side environment
- Spanish language skills are a plus
