Pay: $190,000.00 - $234,000.00 per year

Location: Remote | California Statewide

Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely from anywhere in California. Our practice is based in Los Angeles, but qualified attorneys throughout the state are encouraged to apply. Occasional California court appearances may be required.

Note: Applicants must currently reside in California, hold an active California Bar license in good standing, and have 4+ years of civil litigation experience. Candidates must also have experience supervising associate attorneys or independently leading litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution.

Job Description

• Lead civil litigation defense matters from initial case assessment through resolution, including trial preparation.
• Develop effective defense strategies, evaluate claims, and identify opportunities for favorable outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor associate attorneys, providing guidance on litigation strategy and case management.
• Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, and other essential phases of litigation.
• Collaborate directly with clients, insurance representatives, and legal teams to deliver responsive, effective representation.
• Review pleadings, discovery responses, and legal filings to maintain high-quality work.
• Manage case priorities and drive litigation forward while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• Must currently reside in California.
• 4+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience supervising associate attorneys or independently managing litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Strong litigation strategy, legal writing, and communication skills.
• Experience in personal injury defense, insurance defense, construction defect, habitability, insurance coverage, product liability, or professional liability litigation is preferred.
• Experience with depositions, discovery, and motion practice is highly valued.
