Location:

This is a full time opportunity based in Dallas, Texas. Our attorneys work in the office four days per week, providing strong collaboration and client access, while the office is closed on Fridays. Attorneys are expected to remain responsive to email on Fridays as needed.

Note:

Candidates must be active members in good standing of the Texas Bar and have 2+ years of attorney experience involving healthcare regulatory, licensing, compliance, contracts, or closely related healthcare law matters.

Job Description

  • Advise healthcare clients on licensing, regulatory compliance, operational, and business matters.
  • Research and analyze federal and Texas healthcare laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.
  • Provide practical legal guidance that helps clients understand risk and make informed business decisions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate healthcare, employment, business, and other commercial agreements.
  • Counsel physicians, healthcare professionals, practices, and business owners on regulatory and contractual issues.
  • Support healthcare transactions, practice transitions, compliance initiatives, and related strategic matters.
  • Communicate directly with clients and develop trusted, long term advisory relationships.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across business and healthcare matters to develop creative solutions to complex legal issues.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  • Active Texas Bar membership in good standing.
  • 2+ years of directly relevant attorney experience in healthcare regulatory, licensing, compliance, contracts, or related healthcare law.
  • Strong legal research, analysis, drafting, and client counseling skills.
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, practical advice.
  • Strong organization, judgment, communication, and attention to detail.
