Pay: $100,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Location: Greenville, South Carolina – This is a full-time, on-site position in one of the Southeast's fastest-growing legal and business markets.

Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina and have at least 3 years of litigation experience. Construction litigation experience is strongly preferred but not required.

Job Description

• Represent clients in construction and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Manage pleadings, motions, written discovery, depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Develop litigation strategy and work directly with clients to achieve practical business solutions.
• Collaborate with partners and attorneys on complex construction disputes involving public and private projects.
• Conduct legal research, draft persuasive briefs, and prepare cases for trial.
• Participate in negotiations, settlement discussions, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Bar license.
• 3+ years of litigation experience.
• Construction litigation experience is a strong plus.
• Commercial litigation experience is beneficial.
• Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
• Trial preparation and courtroom experience preferred.
• Candidates from law firms, in-house legal departments, and solo practice backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
