Location: This is a full-time, in-office role based in downtown Jacksonville, FL. After your initial onboarding period, day-to-day flexibility may be available with approval — the firm is committed to setting you up for success before loosening the reins.
Note: Candidates must hold an active Florida Bar license or be currently scheduled to sit for the July 2026 Florida Bar Exam. Only candidates with a J.D. from an accredited law school will be considered. This role is not open to relocation package assistance at this time.

Job Description
- Advocate for clients across a range of insurance defense matters including Premises Liability, Trucking, BI/Auto, and Workers' Compensation
- Draft and prepare legal documents including motions, pleadings, orders, letters, and memos with precision and clarity
- Conduct thorough legal research across a variety of substantive and procedural topics
- Assist senior attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, and other proceedings
- Manage an active caseload while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail
- Collaborate with team members to develop case strategy and deliver excellent outcomes for clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school (required)
- Active Florida Bar membership OR scheduled to sit for the July 2026 Florida Bar Exam
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Adobe
- Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
