Location: Hybrid opportunity based in San Francisco, California, combining in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Job Description

  • Represent clients in a variety of family law matters including divorce, child custody, support, visitation, property division, and related proceedings.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies.
  • Manage an active caseload from intake through resolution.
  • Appear in court for hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Negotiate favorable settlements while preparing cases for litigation when necessary.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to provide exceptional client service.

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license.
  • 1+ year of family law experience.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
  • Experience managing cases independently.
  • Courtroom and negotiation experience is preferred.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
