LocationThis role is based in Concord, New Hampshire. The position is on-site 3 to 4 days per week to start, with flexibility for a hybrid schedule after ramp-up.

NoteQualified candidates must be admitted to practice in New Hampshire and have medical malpractice defense litigation experience.

Job Description

  • Manage medical malpractice defense matters from intake through resolution.
  • Handle pleadings, discovery, depositions, court appearances, motions, and case strategy.
  • Work directly with partners, attorneys, paralegals, and clients on active litigation matters.
  • Communicate with healthcare clients, insurers, and other stakeholders regarding case status and strategy.
  • Take ownership of files while receiving support, mentorship, and resources from an experienced litigation team.
  • Contribute to a growing practice with long-term leadership and advancement potential.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of litigation experience.
  • Medical malpractice defense experience strongly preferred.
  • New Hampshire Bar admission required.
  • Strong research, writing, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing files, handling depositions, and appearing in court.
  • Trial experience preferred.
  • Strong academic credentials preferred.
  • Plaintiff-side medical malpractice experience alone will not be the right fit.
