Location

On-site in Minneapolis, Minnesota — collaborative, deal-driven environment with strong training and direct exposure to complex transactions.

Primarily on-site with some hybrid flexibility depending on the team. Fully remote is not available

Note

This role requires an active Minnesota bar license and at least 1 year of real estate transactional experience. Lender-side finance experience is strongly preferred.

Job Description

  • Represent lenders in a broad range of real estate finance transactions
  • Support complex acquisitions, financings, and development-related matters
  • Draft and negotiate loan documents, ancillary agreements, and closing materials
  • Manage diligence and closing checklists and help drive deals to the finish line
  • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, title companies, and internal teams
  • Conduct legal research and produce clear, business-minded written work product
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy, documentation, and transaction execution

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) required
  • Active license to practice law in the State of Minnesota
  • 1+ year of real estate transactional experience required
  • Experience representing lenders in real estate finance transactions strongly preferred
  • Strong research, writing, and academic credentials
  • Large law firm experience strongly preferred
  • Must have big law firm experience
