About us
Confidential Employer. We are a boutique, multi-specialty litigation firm based in downtown Los Angeles with additional presence in Orange County. Over our 40+ year history, we have built lasting relationships with public entities, municipalities, businesses, and governmental clients throughout California and across the United States. Our labor and employment practice is defense-side, and we are known for quality legal work and the kind of personalized service that keeps institutional clients coming back. We are a growing firm — and we take a long view on the attorneys we bring in.
Job description
- Manage a sophisticated employment litigation caseload from inception through resolution — DFEH/CRD and EEOC charges, PERB proceedings, wage and hour disputes, and employment-related civil matters
- Advise public entity and corporate clients on HR compliance, employment agreements, workplace policies, and employee relations strategy
- Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, and represent clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings
- Negotiate settlements and counsel clients on risk assessment and litigation strategy
- Serve as a trusted advisor on labor relations, employee benefits, and agency investigation response
- Maintain and develop direct client relationships — you will be a face of the firm
Qualifications
- Active California State Bar membership in good standing — required
- 5+ years of substantive litigation experience in labor and employment law
- Defense-side experience strongly preferred; public entity or municipal experience a plus

- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to counsel non-lawyer clients with clarity and confidence
- Self-directed, high-integrity approach to managing an active caseload
- In-house and solo practice backgrounds welcome if litigation experience requirements are met
Why you will love working here

- A collegial, experienced team that values quality work and professional relationships
