Location: Hybrid opportunity based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We enjoy collaborating together in the office while offering flexibility for remote work when appropriate. Relocation candidates are welcome to apply.

Note: To be considered, you must be licensed to practice law in Minnesota and have at least 1 year of employment law experience, along with excellent legal writing skills and a strong work ethic.

Job Description

  • Advise employers on a broad range of employment law issues.
  • Handle employment litigation from inception through resolution.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide practical recommendations to clients.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
  • Collaborate with partners and colleagues on complex employment matters.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients through responsive, high-quality legal counsel.
  • Stay current on developments in employment law and workplace regulations.

Qualifications

  • Active Minnesota Bar license.
  • 1+ year of employment law experience.
  • Law firm experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-motivated with an exceptional work ethic.
  • Litigation experience is preferred but not required.
  • In-house or solo practice backgrounds will be considered if employment law experience is directly relevant.
