Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Primarily on-site to encourage collaboration and mentorship, with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week.

Note: Applicants must have at least 1+ year of immigration law experience, active bar admission, and the ability to independently manage immigration matters while delivering exceptional client service.

Job Description

  • Manage a diverse caseload of employment-based, family-based, and immigration court matters from inception through resolution.
  • Conduct client consultations and develop effective case strategies.
  • Draft petitions, applications, motions, appeals, affidavits, and supporting evidence packages.
  • Prepare and file matters with USCIS, EOIR, DOL, DOS, and federal courts as applicable.
  • Appear before immigration courts, USCIS interviews, and other proceedings when necessary.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely and accurate filings. Perform legal research and stay current on immigration laws and policy changes.
  • Manage deadlines and priorities using case management systems. Build and maintain relationships with clients, agencies, corporations, and other legal professionals.

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Active State Bar admission required.
  • 1+ years of immigration law experience.
  • Experience with family-based and employment-based immigration matters preferred.
  • Willingness to handle immigration court matters.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent client communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with immigration case management software preferred. Additional language skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Adobe Acrobat.
