Job Description
- Handle sophisticated commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, and related agreements
- Advise clients on acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, and financing matters
- Conduct due diligence and oversee title, survey, and closing processes
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to provide comprehensive client solutions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through practical legal counsel
- Participate in strategic planning and business development initiatives
- Contribute to a highly regarded and collaborative real estate practice
Qualifications
- 6+ years of commercial real estate law experience
- Extensive experience with commercial real estate transactions required
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client counseling skills
- Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development matters preferred
- Ability to manage sophisticated transactions independently
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities
- Maine bar admission required
- Portable business not required
